Quality Commercial Upfits

A commercial upfit project involves modifying an existing space to accommodate a tenant, expand lease opportunities, or provide a more functional workspace for those who use it. Upfit jobs may also be called fit-outs and buildouts, but they are similar to renovations although they update only the interior of a structure. When a tenant leaves a commercial space at the end of their lease, the building owner or property manager may choose to convert that area of the building into a shell, or an empty area without walls or flooring.

Quality Commercial Upfits

When a new tenant signs an agreement to lease the space, they will have certain needs or desires for their office. A commercial upfit can accommodate a tenant’s desires and provide them with the ideal workspace. Common tasks associated with upfits include adding walls and doors to create private, walled-off space, installing flooring, putting in light fixtures and other electrical needs, and accommodating the need for any open workspaces.
